We're in the business of helping people get prepared for a career or advance in a job they already have. Whether it's a single course you need, or you'd like us to help you get an apprenticeship, we're a great resource. We'll do what it takes to help you get ahead.

If you’re an employer and are having trouble finding the right kind of employees, we can also help you. We may have students who are already prepared to help you, or we can work with you to develop a course or a series of courses that will accomplish that goal.

Our courses in these work sectors are designed to meet the specific needs of business and industry careers in our region.

Celebrating 421 Years of Dedication: WSWHE BOCES Honors the Class of 2026 Retirees

WSWHE BOCES proudly recognized its Class of 2026 retirees during a ceremony held May 13 at the WSWHE BOCES Conference Center. The event celebrated 21 staff members whose combined careers represent 421 years of service to students, school districts, and communities throughout the region.

Thomas Abad of the WSWHE BOCES High School Equivalency Program was recognized as a 2026 Student of the Year at the 73rd annual New York Association for Continuing and Community Education conference on April 30, 2026 at the Albany Marriott.

Eastern New York Marine Trades Association (ENYMTA) and Employment Training for Adults (ETA), a division of WSWHE BOCES, proudly announced the program completion of five students from its Marine Technology Program.

Congressman Tonko Supports HSE & ETA

On July 1, 2022, Congressman Paul Tonko met with leadership, instructors and recent graduates from the WSWHE BOCES High School Equivalency (HSE) and Employment Training for Adults programs as well as the Tri-County Literacy Center to donate adult education books he received from the Congressional Library.

CTE Works! 2025 Connects Students to Career Pathways Across the Region

On Thursday, December 18, 2025, WSWHE BOCES, in partnership with Saratoga County, hosted CTE Works! 2025, a one-day interactive career exploration event at the Saratoga Springs City Center.

ETA also provides customized industry training for businesses, connections into the workforce development system and online course options.
