HVAC Additional Exams & Courses

Students who have completed all four modules through the ETA program will be eligible to take the EPA 608 Exam. Section 608 of the Federal Clean Air Act requires that all persons who maintain, service, repair or dispose of appliances that contain regulated substances be certified in proper refrigerant handling techniques.

Students that have their universal 608 certification will be eligible to take the Low GWP/A2L refrigerant certification. The Low GWP Refrigerant Safety - A2L Refrigerants examination validates that a person possesses the knowledge to safely work with low GWP refrigerants and helps reduce liability. 

This course will help prepare students for the exam.

 

Exam fee included in tuition, exam proctored on the last day of class.
