Heavy Equipment - 40 hours

This 40 hour course is designed to provide entry level practical heavy equipment operation training. Students will begin with safety and progress to hands on instruction. Participants will learn the purpose and operation of a front end loader, backhoe, dozer and skid steer. Upon successful completion of the course, students will have their OSHA-10 and an understanding of basic operator responsibilities.

Advanced Heavy Equipment - 60 hours

 

This course is a continuation of our Heavy Equipment class where students expand their knowledge on the operation of the Front End Loader, Backhoe, Dozer and SkidSteer. Upon successful completion students will have an evaluation of operation on each piece of equipment.

 

Prerequisite: Heavy Equipment with WSWHE BOCES or written employer recommendation.
