Heavy Equipment - 100 hours

This 100 hour course is designed to provide entry level practical heavy equipment operation training. Students will begin with safety and progress to hands-on instruction. Participants will learn the purpose and operation of a front end loader, backhoe, dozer, excavator and skid steer. Upon successful completion, students will have an evaluation of operation on each piece of equipment and will also have their OSHA-10, an understanding of basic operator responsibilities and initial two year UDIG-NY Excavation Certification. This course will also offer a flagging certification through Cornell University, NYS.
