RV Technician

This RV Technician Level 1 program is designed to provide students with foundational knowledge and hands-on training in recreational vehicle systems, maintenance, and repair. Students will learn industry-standard safety practices, proper tool usage, and basic troubleshooting techniques while gaining practical experience working on RV propane, electrical, plumbing, appliance, generator, chassis, and body systems.

Students will also be introduced to solar power systems used in recreational vehicles. Training will provide foundational knowledge of RV solar components, including solar panels, charge controllers, batteries, and related electrical connections. Students will learn basic principles of solar power generation, system operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and safe installation practices as they relate to RV applications. 

Through classroom instruction and hands-on lab activities, students will perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI), system testing, maintenance procedures, and basic repairs on a variety of RV components and equipment. Training emphasizes workplace safety, technical skill development, and real-world applications to prepare students for entry-level employment in the RV service and repair industry. Upon successful completion of the program, students will earn the following industry-recognized credentials: OSHA 10-Hour Certification, Bring Your A Game Workplace Readiness Certification, and Level 1 RV Technician Certification through the RV Technical Institute (RVTI).
