Driver Education
This 24-hour non-credit program is designed to educate students on appropriate driving skills and habits as well as playing a responsible role in the highway transportation/safety system.
In addition to the classroom there will be 24 hours of concurrent in car instruction (6 hours behind the wheel and 18 hours of observation) that under current COVID guidelines will need to be completed by a parent/guardian. Parents/guardians will be provided a curriculum for each week that includes topic outlines and a performance checklist for each session.
Tuition: $325
Students are required to complete the full 24 hours of classroom instruction to certify with the DMV. If there is an emergency, students should contact the instructor and will have the ability to make up one class night on a predetermined day and time for that session. This is only for emergencies and cannot exceed more than one class. If it exceeds that, certificates will not be issued and refunds will not be possible.
