Attendance Requirements
In accordance with New York State Department of Motor Vehicles regulations, students must complete all required instructional hours to receive the MV-285 certificate.
-
Students may miss up to 2 classroom sessions and 2 in-car sessions.
-
If a student must miss a session due to illness or emergency, they must notify the instructor prior to the scheduled class and attend a designated make-up session.
-
Students who exceed the allowable absences or fail to complete required make-up sessions will not be eligible to receive the MV-285 certificate.

Weather-related or emergency closures will be rescheduled by the instructor.
If multiple scheduling conflicts are anticipated, we recommend enrolling in a future session to ensure successful completion of the program.
