From Employee to Owner: Starting a Small Business in New York State

Learn what it takes to start a business in New York State through From Employee to Owner course series.

 

The course focuses on conceptualizing, developing, funding and managing successful new enterprises. Using lecture style teaching combined with presentations by guest speakers, the course applies concepts and techniques from: basic business principles, with some items touching on finance/accounting and marketing/sales. Students will have an opportunity to work with the guest speakers one-on-one to ask specific questions to them.
