Holiday Cooking Class

Join us for an evening of delicious food and hands on cooking experience. Upon arrival you will enjoy a Southern Shrimp Cocktail & Deviled Egg topped with lump crab meat. 

During our session together you will discover a new love for pate a choux and how to make a pastry cream with different variations to best please your guests. For the savory side we will review the whole process of brining a turkey and cooking it to proper temperature to yield the best outcome, utilizing the drippings to make an herb sauce. Next you will learn how to make a whipped mashed potato that is sure to leave all your guests impressed. A staple at any holiday meal are these amazing shrimp stuffed mirletons (a type of squash), we will boil then scoop and make an amazing stuffing to enjoy. We will finish off the meal with learning how to blanch green beans to al dente and sauteing your greens with caramelized onions. 

Students will have the opportunity to enjoy a generous sampling of food prepared throughout the class.
