Saratoga, Warren, Washington Counties Workforce Development System
This 16-hour course is designed to help those adults who are planning to take the written Commercial Driver License (CDL) test. The CDL is a written exam that is used as a way to obtain a permit used to applying for either a Class A or Class B License. A permit is necessary to participate in CDL Driving instruction to prepare for the CDL road test. Students will be prepared for the following Department of Motor Vehicle written test.
• Air Brakes
• Hazardous Materials
• Combination Vehicles
• Wrecker Recovery
• Double and Triples
• Tank Vehicles

Session I: 1/3/2018-1/31/2018 (no class 1/11/2018)
Session II: 2/28/2018 - 3/22/2018
Session III: 4/18/2018 - 5/10/2018
W, TH 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Classes are held at Southern Adirondack Education Center
• You must be 21 years old to obtain Class A Licence.
• You must be 18 years old to obtain Class B Licence
• You must be able to demonstrate the ability to shift a manual transmission
• This course is a prerequisite for enrolling in either Class A or Class B driving classes. Permit-holding adults must attend the classroom portion of the training if they plan to take the driving portion of the training in a BOCES vehicle
