Online Offerings
Employment Training for Adults offers three types of ONLINE COURSES, all offering the flexibility for those who need it for their personal and professional lives. Choose from self-paced, Instructor-led or Hybrid-courses. Our online targeted classes are highly interactive and provide students with the skills and tools necessary to acquire professional level positions for many in-demand occupations.
Students should have BASIC COMPUTER SKILLS and be familiar with using the INTERNET.

The following programs are eligible for the Workforce Development Board’s Rural Healthcare Grant.
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
- Certified EKG Technician
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician
- Certified Physical Therapy Aide
The Workforce Development Board’s Rural Healthcare Grant aims to serve some unemployed and underemployed residents across 17 counties of Upstate New York. Students attending training in any healthcare field may be eligible for scholarships for tuition or training costs.
This grant aims to increase the number of individuals training in healthcare occupations that directly impact patient care and alleviate healthcare workforce shortages by creating sustainable employment and training programs in healthcare occupations serving rural populations.
