NCLEX-PN Intensive 3-Day Prep Course
This course applies content presented in the Practical Nursing program as students prepare to sit for their licensure exam - NCLEX-PN (National Council Licensure Examination - Practical Nurse). An emphasis is placed on stress management and coping strategies; dissecting test questions and application of learned materials; and gaining confidence to be successful.
The NCLEX-PN is a required test for practical/vocational nurses to pass in order to become a registered nurse in the United States and Canada. Students trained in any Adult Practical Nursing Program are welcome to enroll.
TEAS Prep Course
This course is designed to guide the students in preparation for taking Assessment Technology Institute's (ATI's) Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) exam as a prerequisite for a prospective health sciences program, including Nursing School programs. Students will be engaged in a multimodal approach as they develop and apply skills in critical thinking while they review content to be tested - Reading, Math, Science and English and Language usage.
